Afriqan Times Corporate Profile

The Afriqan Times monthly print and on-line magazine was first published in June 2010. The Afriqan Times Director has created national media history by launching Australia’s first and only, free, bulk distributed, magazine published by African-Australians for African-Australians.

African-Australian Population

There are over 450,000 African-Australian’s living in Australia representing the 52 countries that make up the African Continent. Hundreds of thousands of people from Africa have immigrated to Australia and most have migrated using skilled migration programs. African immigrants coming to Australia predominantly live in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne and there are over 100,000 African-Australians living in each of these Australian capital cities.

This 36-page, full gloss magazine was created to inspire and entertain all African-Australians and to informother interested Australians about the diverse mixture of people and cultures that make up our very large national African-Australian population. The Afriqan Times print and on-line magazine is an informative mix of local African-Australian community, national and international news, high profile interviews, business, sports, entertainment and fashion.

Afriqan Times Distribution

The Afriqan Times has a national circulation of 40,000 copies monthly and is bulk distributed, posted and e-mailed to our many national subscribers. 10,000 copies of the Afriqan Times print magazine are bulk delivered free, each month, to African-Australian Shops, Restaurants, Shopping Centres and Businesses in and around each of the metropolitan areas of Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The Afriqan Times can be found in areas where African-Australians are found in strong numbers in these Australian capital cities. This
has never been done for people with African heritage in Australia.
